As I said to BeakerSt - it's just my luck: thought I would improve one thing before going to bed last night; tested all fine, next day find out BIG bug. And the cause? Something that shouldn't happen appeared to suddenly normally happen. It's been fixed but REALLY sorry for the problems it has caused you guys.
I blame Jide though - because...give me a minute and I'll come up with a good reason.

It's red ShMood, so The SlaveMaster is going to say that we need a development blog where these bugs can be properly tested out first before we propagate the new code to the other blogs. Any volunteers? Jide?

How about fixing the right "your blog" URL and "location" while replying in other blogs?
John: We got round to fixing a bug in the comments form (gave the wrong URL) - not certain if it is the bug you are talking about. As for location, bizarrely that's a tricky one. We've tried 3 different systems, one of which was supposed to be able to pin you down to the city - that one really was inconsistent. The current one we are using is supposed to take your IP address and matches it against a db. However, we think the inconsistencies may arise because the IP is sometimes from a proxy which could be anywhere. How would you feel if, when you are logged in location is assigned to what you signed up as, and when not signed in it does the freaky IP thingy?

John... found another bug in the comments form. The "your blog" URL is wrong when I'm at my own blog. It gives the location of the temp blog - i.e. http://www.shutterchance.com/bloggers/duane/.

PoiSoN: where you do see the backslashes for the "your blog" and "location"? Is that in the emails you receive? Or is it on your blog?
